For the first time, The Boys Studio will now be offering intimate workshops for established or aspiring makeup artists, that are wanting to learn and gain new techniques within a small group setting.
Through a 14 year career, Dean has worked alongside some of Australia's industry leaders and understands to keep ahead of the industry is to invest in your technique.
Deans makeup career has stemmed from inspiring teams within international makeup brands in management positions. Also working within fashion, editorial, bridal, event makeup, TV, and also extending through to education in training positions with makeup academies and brand educational roles.
In these workshops, Dean will showcase and break down his techniques on how to adapt makeup styles for your client with current trends.
These workshops are presented step by step, with discussion on each technique.
Dean will explain the importance of selecting the right tools and prep products for your clients, all the way through to perfecting the skin and how to create a flawless base that does not rely on product build up.
How to give your clients longevity with their makeup, through to understanding colour theory and why it needs to be a makeup artists tool, which is the key to creating the ultimate glam makeup look for your client.

The smokey eye, and glowing skin glam is one of the most requested looks you will get as a makeup artist. However, there is a fine art to adapting a glam smokey eye for an occasion, and also keeping in mind your clients comfort levels.
This workshop is about showcasing the right types of questions to ask your client with the art of investigation, the products you select, placement of textures and tones, using colour theory as inspiration, with on trend techniques and products through to elevating the look through the final moments of finesse.
*This is an extremely intimate workshop that allows you to practice skills, get technical advice and feedback, through a fun environment with like minded creatives.
